The food took a bit and much of it was luke warm. My burger was missing and the waitress immediately comped it and let me know it would be a few minutes. A fun spot, I'd like to try it again on a date.
Food was nothing to write home about. We were a table of 3, they forgot to bring out one meal, when I finally found a waitress and asked for my sandwich they brought it out cold with soggy fries. It had sat under the heat lamp for 20 min, and they still served it Service was awful, nice place, and nice view, so they have that going for them. With my patience packed, I would go back for beers on the patio.
Absolutely the worst service I have ever had waited 2 hours for pizza and wings. Needless to say it was cold when it got to us. I would understand if it was busy but there were open tables everywhere. Going to be awhile before we come back. For a place that counts on boat traffic in the summer they are failing.
I give this place two thumbs up if you're into food boating or beer this is the place to go always a good time.
My wife and I came upon The Edge after a short drive through Lake Wissota State Park. We like trying new places so went in. The waitress was prompt and friendly. We ordered burgers. My wife got the Popper without a bun and I got the Diablo. In both cases the bacon was barely cooked while the bottom of my bun was actually dried up to thr point of being brittle. I did not eat it. The patty was just ok. On my way to the restroom I saw the kitchen. It was a total mess and that alone would assure we would never return. The bad bun and bacon sealed the future. Never again.
