Citadel Bbq

I had a break from ICU for 1 hour last night during shift change. Walked over at 6:32 pm. Went inside and waited 10 minutes at the bar. Never saw an employee. Walked out. Terrible service.

First of all the portions they give you for the price you're paying is outrages.for a second i thought the food must be very good if your'e only getting small portions as if they were running out of food.the brisket they served me had nothing but fat on it.the pork ribs were trimmed to damn near bone .i guess the use the rest for the pulled pork sandwiches because the were dry.chicken had some decent flavor but again i think i got maybe half a chicken breast and sausage was also very dry. The green beans were to salty i couldnt even eat them.potatoe salad was bland cornbread was hard as a rock i think i chipped a tooth biting into it.The beans and rice and mac and cheese were the only thing on my plate halfway decent.Fifth ward barbeque is cheaper but have better quality food.not only will i never come here and throw my hard earned money again but i wouldn't even recommend anyone to come and spend their hard earned money here

Buyer beware. Manager substituted for smaller buns on the sandwiches, but of course didn't adjust the price. Eg $13 for a chopped brisket sandwich that looked like a kiddy meal. The brisket also tasted old. And it's still 5 hours till closing!

Had the brisket but it was just really fatty. Not much meat on it. BBQ sauce was good though.

Waiting in line for 10 minutes with nobody in front of me while the staff is talking in the back when they finally saw the customers walk out the finally came to the front
