Daily Donuts

I highly recommend stopping by here, especially if you have an early flight! We arrived about 15 minutes after they opened at around 4:45 AM, and we absolutely loved everything we tried. The blueberry cake donut was heavenly, and the chocolate cake donut was still warm and incredibly delicious! The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was full of flavor, and the jalapeño boudin kolache was just as tasty! Plus, the owner was really nice! I can't wait to come back again!

They only received one star because I had to assign one to submit this review. This establishment is a total rip-off; they serve cold food and take your money without concern. They claim that you are not entitled to a refund if you are dissatisfied with your meal. This is poor business practice.

I tried the sausage breakfast taco, and it reminded me of home-cooked meals. It had just the right amount of spice for my taste, even though I'm not a fan of spicy food. They also provide salsa on the side if you want to add some extra heat. Unfortunately, there aren’t any gluten-free options available. The staff is really friendly, which is a big plus. However, I had to take away a star because the coffee was not great—it tasted like gas station coffee. Coming from Chicago, I’m used to much better food overall, so that was a disappointment.

Even if you enjoy their food, the poor customer service is simply unacceptable. I should have received the correct order, not been accused of lying about it. I was so upset that I just wanted to leave, but that was the only money I had for lunch. To make matters worse, he told me not to come back to his store, which won’t be an issue for me. I felt completely disrespected, especially given my past experiences with domestic violence that have left me with PTSD. No one deserves to be treated in such a manner.

I really enjoyed the Chapel Hill sausage kolaches. The staff was also very nice!
