Lao Sze Chuan

Very authentic and tasty Szechuan food. Here there is a wide variety of traditional Chinese dishes and each one is sensational as well as the peppercorns themselves.

Amazing atmosphere, incredible food, and the owner is to the most authenticity, a personable person. This place has never disappointed. Great for dates and family night. We come every Saturday!

Nice restaurant to try the authentic Sichuan cuisine. The Black Tea and Camphor duck is great. It has a unique flavor distinguished itself from the Beijing (Peking) roasted duck or Cantonese roasted duck. I strongly recommend diners not dipping the duck in the sauce nor be wrapped because it is not the traditional way to eat it. The traditional Sichuan way is just to eat the duck by itself. The Lao Sze Chuan twice cooked pork is good. The meat selection is great and well sliced. 火爆腰花 it is a bit spicy, and 木耳 should be sliced to match the formation of the meat. The food was good but a bit overpriced compared to other Sichuan restaurants.

The best Chinese restaurant in Houston hands down. Absolutely incredible food and service.

Food was ok, service was very slow for not being busy at all. Didn’t really feel welcomed.
