The Baker’s Man

The red velvet and blondie caramel cake do not have words. In fact the blondie caramel cake I needed a moment to myself after tasting it for the first time. ? This man has true talent with his flavors.

Bought a couple strawberry cream cake Bundt cakes from this man at Discovery Green last night and tough they were expensive they were the best I have ever had.

I had the opportunity to try their chocolate fudge cake at the Urban Harvest market. Simply put… sweet, decadent, moist, and a velvety smooth texture that’s sure to please your sweet tooth!

The breads were freshly made and the drinks were my kids favorite. By noontime more options are out and they have different options everyday.

I am a dessert/cake snob so anytime I'm in a new/different area, I always look up a new dessert to try. The Baker's Man had been on my list for a while so I decided to stop in. The owner was very nice, he made a great suggestion to get the sampler box since it was my first time. He had a great variety that day and was pleased by that. The cakes are cold, which...as a baker (though novice) and cake snob..I understand why. However, I DO NOT like cold cake. That being said...I was super hungry when I left and took a pinch of the red velvet. I can't lie...it was pretty delish even cold. Overall, I really enjoyed about 1/2 of the flavors (red velvet and funfetti being the most memorable, the others not so much (strawberry creme and pumpkin my least favorite due to flavor and texture). It was decent though. I'd still challenge someone to try it and I'll probably go back for a 2nd try.
