Bar and Blue Marlin Bistro

Had lunch here and the food was great (pizza) service was fantastic and efficient. Great views, bar staff were very polite as well.Resonably priced.

The food is nice with very reasonable prices. Have only been there for lunch during the week so it wasn't overly busy. This of course meant that the service was quick and efficient. Being a local, I like the fact that I'm not expected to join as a member (seeing as I'm not a boatie) so I can go there on a casual basis.And yes, as mentioned in other reviews, great views and great location.

While they have a very reasonable priced menu all evening contrary to many who only have Early Bird specials, the restaurant can be very loud. Recommend mot getting a table anywhere near the bar area

The Trailer Boat Club is situated right next door to the popular Darwin Sailing Club. We have visited both and we think the Trailer Boat Club is a little better. On arrival you will need to sign in as a visitor (if you aren’t a member). There is an alfresco area or an undercover area to enjoy your relaxing drink whilst looking at the gorgeous views of Darwin Harbour with boats bobbing on the water or to watch the spectacular sunsets.If you’re feeling peckish or would like a meal, they have a café which has a good selection of food.Due to its’ location, this is one of “the” spots in Darwin and should not be missed – especially at sunset!

One of the worse meal i have had anywhere.but looking at previous reviews left by others , it may be that we went to the restaurant at the wrong time or that it was a blip in a normally adequate restaurant.We went for a family dinner last sunday night with 4 guests and ordered the white bait plates and the small child that was with us had a plate chicken nuggets and chips. all the meals were made with the same batter which was mostly composed of salt and was completely unedible. we left most of it and told the waitress who informed the chef who apparently apologised but we had no meal offered as replacement. never again will we go there. very unfortunate experience. expensive too which would have been ok had the meals been able to be eatenotherwise nice view out to the ocean at sunset time but there are 2 other clubs with restaurants adjacent to this place so i would advise anyone to go there instead
