Wat hebben wij lekker gegeten! De bitterballen zijn een absolute aanrader! Overigens net als de Brisket, Catch of the day, het toetje, de oesters en de saté! Mexicaans met een verrassende twist.Dit is echt een aanrader! Wel even reserveren.

Great authentic Mexican food, which is really hard to find.

WOW! By far the best Mexican restaurant in the Netherlands. Creative, delicious and well executed. Every single detail has been thought about. The flavors were incredible. We came expecting four courses and with the dessert, our meal totaled 8! The say it is emotional Mexican cuisine and I wanted to go hug the chef several times! We had a Mexican beer (I took a Pilsner, my boyfriend the Porter, both very nice! to begin and then a wonderful fresh margarita halfway through; both were complimentary to the flavors of the dishes! I enjoyed the minimalist yet warm decor. I hope to see this wonderful restaurant busy every night! Worth every penny.. if you love Mexican food (or just delicious food! ...Ruiseñor is NOT to be missed!

In a nutshell, food is excellent. Original and researched. It's a series of small dishes, very well prepared, very tasteful, based in Mexican kitchen, and combined with lots of different international touches. Officially a 4 course menu but actually you get 7 courses as there were 3 in between. We took wine only but apparently they have some very interesting alcohols and cocktails (Dixit friends with good culinary taste) For the place itself: location excellent. Decoration very limited, the walls are a bit too white. Luckily a few paintings were giving a bit more of a warm feeling.
