The Dovecote - The Morley Hayes

We were somewhat let down during our recent visit to the restaurant. We ordered a Pernod pre-dinner drink, but it was a yellow color instead of the expected off-white and tasted odd. It was replaced for us. The main meal was excellent. However, when we ordered the cheese board for dessert, we were disappointed by the small portion size considering the price. We have dined at this restaurant many times in the past and have always been satisfied, but this time we were slightly disappointed.

The Dovecote Restaurant is our favourite place to eat. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious and presented beautifully. This visit, we had a champagne breakfast which never disappoints we wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

Great food. Be better if there was a reduced price for breakfast if you didn't have the champagne.

This restaurant is a wonderful find! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the ambience was charming. I will definitely be returning in the future.
