We were mighty disappointed by the quality of the food served, but should have expected it...that's why they have scoopon deals. The food served were unusual for a Chinese restaurant. The taste of the food was quite bland and below standard. Nothing superb for the price paid. Definitely won't be coming back.
A highly unusual almost dystopian dining experience tonight. My fault for not checking online reviews before eating here but I had dined here a few years ago, and had a great meal …. Waterside at Circular Quay, beautiful view to the spectacularly lit Opera House, light breeze to relieve the humidity …. And that where the good stuff ends. The food wasn’t bad per se. If it was served to you from a bain-marie in one of those Food Court Eateries in a shopping centre you would dig in quite happily. However, served to your table in a harbour side restaurant in Sydney’s Rocks area one would have to be a, um, tad disappointed to say the least. The service however was a completely different kettle of fish. It was weird, disorganised, disjointed, disaffected, disagreeable and, well basically just poor. We had quite a long wait to order drinks and then a longer one to order food, our order for a bottle of Pinot Noir was completely forgotten, water had to be requested repeatedly, several spirits for their listed cocktails were out of stock, they weren’t even sure if they were serving our dishes to the right table …. Oh and we are still wondering if there was actually any alcohol in our cocktails….. At a food court in your local Westfield, I wouldn’t complain but in a prestige harbour side setting in Australia’s largest city … yeah, NO! Really must say don’t bother.

The waiter was rude and and uninterested in helping in any way. The wonton soup had absolutely no flavor. This was an overpriced very average experience.
We ate here with a Cudo voucher for a 9 course degustation apparently worth $239 which we paid $69 for. The was average for what we paid, the dessert which was seasonal fruits was a lump of watermelon and a lump of rockmelon that looked less appealing than when your mum put them out on a Saturday afternoon when you were growing up. The service was good but I could not fathom how a place with such a nice setting could serve such average food that was supposed to be worth $239!!!
