Lighthouse Point And Grille

My first time in the villages; came to the lighthouse for lunch with my father and stepmother. This is a great little restaurant at the lake; well lit with a great energy, beautiful covered outdoor seats and a fast and friendly staff, served excellent food! I enjoyed my group sandwich and the huge share of frits... drinks are served in small mason glasses; That was pretty cool. Overall a pleasant and photogenic experience, although I checked... You cannot enter the lighthouse.

Fantastic experience! We enjoyed the Abyss shrimp, oysters, and peel-and-eat shrimp, along with trying every salad on the menu—all for under $70! Chris was an excellent server.

It was served quickly and politely. The place was clean and welcoming. The food came out immediately. Price is right. The waitress was very nice. The fish tasted fresh, but I can't tell you enough as there was just no taste in the fish, fries, sauce. Also, everything like these wide pasta dishes is served that are difficult to eat when cutting is required. You'll know what I mean when you were there. 100% will not eat there again. I really felt like eating hospital food heart was low sodium. And I don't traditionally salt any of my foods.

The view and atmosphere are fantastic! I would have loved to see a wider selection of beers, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything else. You absolutely must try the wing appetizers with the boom sauce!

Absolutely a must-try in Lake Sumter! We experienced the best and fastest service from our server, Justin. The food came out quickly, was fresh, piled high, and delicious! The nachos with beef were loaded with toppings, and our chicken wings were prepared just the way we like them—plain with the sauce on the side. The portions of the blue cheese, hot sauce, and BBQ sauce were generous! Justin, the food, and the overall experience were all fantastic! Just a reminder: don't feed the alligators! And if you're from New England, you'll enjoy the sports memorabilia on display!
