Baja Sur Fresh Mex Tequila

Amazing food and drinks! We had a whole bunch of appetizers to taste a little bit of everything. Authentic Mexican food! Our waiters were excellent on the customer service. The bartender knew a lot about the drinks and came to our table to share what mezcals he has. The ambience is also really nice. They have a private room for a party option. Can't believe this place has been here for years and we just now discovered it.

Loved finding a tequila bar in my area! The small bites menu (shrimp empanadas) and ceviche were a true treat. I will be back to explore the tequila list and more small bites.Parking: Ample parking.

Restaurant was absolutely amazing!! Juan was our bartender and took amazing care of us! Menu was very eclectic and modern. Not typical boring Tex-max! Ask about the homemade chips , they don’t bring out chips and salsa unless you ask , ask your server or bartender about the homemade chips and salsa… it is to die for ?! So much more elegant than a barrel of chips. Amazing!!!! Ambiance is chic , boutique style. They have an amazing outdoor area as well that has televisions and is heated. You can reserve this or super cute smaller more intimate area for parties! Ask for Jonathan for that!!

I was driving by to have a margarita and some food before going home. Id never been here before so I figured I’d give it a try. Bartender was great and timely. Strange margaritas, a VERY limited menu. I was told that the cooking staff didn’t cook dinner menu items until a certain time which seemed really odd to me. Prices were pretty fair. Very nice facility. Just not really satisfied with the overall experience especially on a first impression like that.

First time to try the new menu and was extremely excited based on all the great things I heard about the chef from Belly of the Beast.Sadly, the restaurant was almost empty-3 other tables when we walked in and only us when we left. That being the case-service was great and we were able to converse quite a bit with our waiter.My husbands-and probably a lot of others complaint-no chips and salsa-none. The waiter did offer up we could order tostada shells with salsa. He gave us a sample with the Houston salsa and it was delicious. I am fine without the chips but for those who have to have...We tried the ceviche, birria tacos, baby octopus, seafood risotto and shrimp empanadas. The ceviche was ok. Everything else was delicious. I especially loved the baby octopus-delightful spicy sauce and crispy-yum!All in all-the offerings are very good but the menu is very limited.
