Cru Food And Wine -the Woodlands

When I booked there was no mention of a fixed menu only with no options or room for “modifications” according to the chef Then my friends risotto arrived with a hair in it !!!

Cru is always extremely good. We hade the seared scallops and mussels and they were terrific

Good restaurant for a nice dinner. I had business colleagues with me and everyone had a good time. It can get just a bit noisy, but not too bad. Great wine selection.

It did not seem that they were prepared for the volume that they had. The manager tried his best.

People have told me that the service was terrible here but went to try it on our own and they had to comp half of our meal because we were left waiting over 40 minutes for our desserts. When the person in charge walked over and apologized, he thought we were waiting for our entrees. We let him know it was dessert and then our waiter came over and asked us what was it that you even ordered .... tried to give them a shot but will probably not be coming back.
