The shop is great, fantastic atmosphere. The food is excellent, with flavors worth discovering. One of the nicest shops I've been to in Thessaloniki. Service is polite but could be improved. The mentality of trying to make the customer take something extra all the time, suggesting some extra appetizer, some more wine, a dessert at the end is tiring and I think it is aimed at a different audience and not the people who would expect to approach such a store. It's a shame that the authenticity of a shop like this is undermined by such small details in the service that have a big influence on the patrons who choose it. So consider this a polite suggestion for correction because the shop is great in all other respects. Once upon a time, whatever you tried in this shop would literally make you drool, unfortunately that is no longer the case. Also, the character of the shop has been altered and tends to lose that originality that made us love it, visit it again and again and recommend it to friends and acquaintances. Small talk is an outdated marketing technique, it has nothing to do with the customers of such shops, nor the supposed random placement of extra dishes. Huge negative to ask if the customer wants to tip, even for card payments, if he wants to, he knows how to do it...
