Igglis - Thessaloniki

This is one of those places you do not only recommend because you do not want other people to go there.... Please keep it a secret. It is a sweet and small tavern in the old town of Thessaloniki. Meals are really good. You should order diffrente so you can try everything. I enjoyed them all, especially beet salad and liver. You should walk into the tavern. So you can enjoy the view of the surroundings.

Discovered this place by accident on a Sunday evening. Old timey tavern in Thessaloniki. The cook might look like he’s distant, but a very warm and cool person. Music is played through a vinyl player. Delicious food, all prepared by the cook himself. We were very satisfied in the end. I’m not sure why there are people leaving negative reviews. Tip: don’t feed the cats, the cook himself feeds them by the end of the shift. 5/5 from me.

Feeling at home away from home. We had the most amazing authentic and cheap !!! dinner in this lovely spot in Ana Poli area. The vibes of the place, the courtesy of the staff and the quality of the food just make it worthy a trip to the city. Getting to eat under the vine enjoying the silence and the good food with a glass of ouzo…. I mean a dream! We will be back for sure! Efaristo!!!
