We’ve barely been back in Milwaukee for a week and I think we’ve been almost every day so far!! This is truly my favorite coffee spot in the Thiensville area actually totally worth the drive even if you are outside of Thiensville! This location sits right on the river so inside or outside, or the outdoor winterized patio with fireplace it just doesn’t get better than this! The service is always fantastic everyone is so nice and bends over backwards to accommodate. I’ve brought work here and sat for a few hours during the winter and it’s such a cozy welcoming place! Really it’s a must come kind of place! For drinks definitely try the iced mocha! But I like their lattes almost any way you order iced or hot. They do offer a variety ofdifferent milk options. I’m always oat milk, but they have other options as well. The pastries are really good. Chicken pesto is a lunch favorite. Chocolate chip cookies are one of my daughter’s must get. And if they have the blueberry lavendar scone, try it!! it’s SO delicious! Last note they have a bike repair station. That is absolutely adorable and ridiculously well appointed.!! We’ve used it to put air in the stroller tires, but they have all the tools! I’ve added a photo here, because there were some tools I didn’t even know you needed for a bike!!
The staff is helpful and kind and made the most delicious oat milk toasted marshmallow latte! Looking from the road, it is deceiving how much seating there is at this location: inside, back patio, and seating in a three seasons room!
First time here. From out of state. Smallish parking lot can be tricky to navigate if mostly full. I think the outside needs some updating. Liked the menu and that breakfast can be ordered any time. The 2 girls working were nice. Not a lot of tables inside. Less of an issue when outdoor seating is available based on weather. We found it odd to see a couple (or 2 friends? in a back corner, lounging as if they were at home. On one side of the table is a long built in bench from what I could tell. One was mostly laying on it with the other leaning up against the other. With blankets. It was awkward and felt as if we were intruding. Looked as if they'd been there awhile. We went outside. Since we'd never been before, we didn't know to go around the corner to wait for them to put our drinks up on the counter. Waited at our table and when we decided to go check on drinks, I passed the girl bringing our food out. My daughter's strawberry lemonade was actually strawberry tea, so I took it in to get fixed and waited for them to make it while my food sat outside. My Italian soda had no cream and needed more raspberry syrup. I wouldn't have known it was a pesto chicken sandwich bc there was so little pesto. The chicken tasted like it wasn't seasoned not even with s p. Ordered an almond poppy seed muffin and an orange ginger cookie and they were great. It's cramped if several people arrive at once and causes doors and bathroom to be blocked. I felt that they needed more than 2 people working. Went at 3:00 on a Saturday.
This restaurant is a Gem! Great place for a hand crafted beverage or a tasty sandwich. Outdoor seating is very nice with tables in the shade
