The Gold Cup Inn - Thirsk

Large village pub, very friendly renter, eating was very tasty and quickly served, will definitely be back to visit in the near future.

Grabbed a drink after a long walk and had nothing to complain about, good beer and prompt service. Had a very nice day to sit outside for a drink as well.

Had a fantastic Sunday dinner today! The portion sizes were generous, and there was a diverse selection of dishes to enjoy at a relaxed pace. The meal included dauphinois potatoes alongside roast potatoes, a massive Yorkshire pudding, carrots, broccoli, creamy mashed potatoes, and cauliflower cheese. They also had a great selection of beer! The pub itself is lovely and has a charming rural atmosphere.

The dining experience was fantastic, and I would definitely return. The bar staff was friendly, so I give it a 10/10!

Long walks in this area end at the pub, where you can enjoy friendly service and good politics. The pints are excellent and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it when you're in the neighborhood!
