The chicken with vegetables combo was delightful! The egg roll shell was crisp and the filling was firm and hot. The chicken was pulled breast meat. The vegetables were fresh broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, onion and bok choi. All stir fry just right in a light sauce. Even the fried rice had a rich beefy soy favoring with just the right saltiness. I wish I could cook as well as he does. The restaurant is a true take-out kitchen with a few tables and chairs available for eating in store. Nothing fancy, but simple and clean. It's a survivor of the pandemic. They are about the food, not the frills.
I typically don’t leave reviews however this was the absolute worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The only thing that tasted fresh was the chicken wings but everything else tasted like it was re heated and just tasted disgusting. We ended up throwing out the most of the order.
Best for take out, but can eat in. Delicious food don't let the looks of the building fool you!
I would rate this a negative number if I could. Fryer was clearly in desperate need of cleaning. All the fried food smelled and tasted of dirty oil, the won tons were overcooked which made them inedible. The rice was great if you prefer more onion than rice. Very sticky and way more salty than other Chinese food in the area (yes, I expect salty). My dinner mate had some beef that she said was good. Best part of Chinese food is the left overs...mine went in the trash.
