Swagat "The Welcome" - Thomastown

Swagat is a good Indian restaurant, it is suitable for large group bookings. The local Indian community seem to dine here which tells me it's doing all the right things. Would definitely dine here again

Restaurant was not even a quarter full and took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive. If you're super hungry don't come here. The food is impressive but they are so extremely slow. (sigh)

They serve very pure and hygienic indian food. If you are missing Indian testy food in Melbourne! you should visit this restaurant. The real test of Indian food.

IF you are fan of Indian food. I think you sound visit "Swagat The Welcome". I had visited this restaurant. The food was awesome. The staff was very supportive and helpful.

Great food, friendly staff and well priced.2 of us ordered 2 entrees, 2 mains, rice and naan and only paid $60.00. We couldn't finish all of it.If I had to complain about anything it would the time it took to bring the food out. I was in a group of 11 people though...I highly recommend this restaurant.
