Paulie's Brick Oven Pizza - Thomasville

Was our favorite pizza place in town but they closed down shop on the 5th of June. The new owner of their building is planning a renovation. I was told that they are not reopening anywhere else.

Love the food and get it delivered often. Biggest problem is we get stiffed on the ranch every time we order delivery. How many ranches do I want? Blow my mind with the amount you send. I request four? Send me eight. Charge me, I don't care. The ranch is that good. I just need some reassurance that I will get some extra ranch when requesting said ranch on an online order. Again, food great. Ranch quality is great. Ranch quantity leaves a fat boy like me hanging in the worst possible way. Thank you.

A slightly unpleasant smell greeted us as we walked in but not so strong as to make us turn around. Nice smile from hostess but we were seated without menus and had to wait for them. The menu's were confusing. A single topping calzone was $11. A special lunch single topping calzone with drink $9. No combination topping calzones listed and each topping was $1.50. My wife got a sausage calzone that was gooey in the middle and the sausage was not very flavorful. Very much bread with cheese and not much flavor. My loaded Greek small pizza had perfectly toasted crust for me, but overall the ingredients were not flavorful. Canned sliced olives for sure. Not interested in going back again.

The pizza was okay it was decent nothing special. It tasted fresh. The manicotti could have used more flavor. The restaurant itself could have been cleaner. There was a lot of dust and fingerprints and old food stains that need wiping up.

March 29, 2022, yummy....loved the pizza. Even with tooth pain....ouch...I will return and highly recommend. Price was great....
