Unfortunately, the hash has declined over the past 15 years. While it tastes okay, it's generally too watery and just doesn't have the right flavor to stand out. On the bright side, they serve excellent sweet tea, and the red velvet cake is quite tasty as well.
Absolutely outstanding! This place is simply amazing! I dined at Harlem's on weekends, and I couldn't believe it when my parents suggested going somewhere else. Almost everything on the menu is scratch-made (except maybe the bread for the BBQ sandwiches), and they catch their catfish fresh from a pond right outside the restaurant. It's a family-owned business, which means the Neal family and their friends are the ones cooking in the kitchen. Just a heads-up: don’t even think about trying the red velvet cake—trust me, it's a decision you won't want to make!
Great prices and massive portions! We ordered the rib and pulled pork dinner, which came with a generous helping of coleslaw, two sides, three pieces of bread, grits, and a drink. The ribs were juicy, and the pulled pork was also served with a nice sauce. The coleslaw and potato salad were decent, although the beans tasted like they were straight from a can. We also tried an order of hush puppies, and they were excellent. I really enjoyed the local BBQ joint vibe, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Best BBQ ever I had love of chocolate cake is like the sky and the fish is to die, for everything is always on point and the dear employees are very good
The best pork Bar-B-Que ever. I have been eating there since 1979 and the taste is still the same. Highly recommended!!!
