Every time we pass by, he checks out the number of cars in the parking lot, and we discuss whether or not to give it a try. The Hubby has a preference for a well-cooked charcoal grilled burger, and I occasionally get a craving for one as well. This summer, we finally decided to stop by Golden Star in hopes of discovering a new burger joint near our home.
Just a happy place with old school burgers the size of your face. Golden Star is a Thornhill favourite with great burgers and fries the way you like em. It can get pricy if you order combos but the amount of food you get in return is enough for two meals. Order carefully!
Homemade Allstar Burger Cheese Yum!!<br/ <br/ Some things don't change and shouldn't change. Golden Star has kept people coming back for many years by making good burgers. <br/ <br/ The one thing I would like them to change: accept more than just cash as a method of payment. That wouldn't change the quality of the burgers, would it?
There is a reason Golden Star has been around so long because it's excellent. You want a hamburger and fries and don't care about a fancy place? This is it.
This was my first time at this restaurant and I am not a Thornhill resident. I must say, this place has the best burgers ever! Despite its appearance as a diner and being easy to miss while driving by, I highly recommend making a stop here and trying the house burger.
