We enjoyed tea right in front of the fire, where four of the Bronte children were born—it was truly special. The owner was wonderful as well, taking the time to share some history about the place and the surrounding area. Just down the road, you'll find the ruins of the Old Church and the Bell Tower where Patrick Bronte preached, which is a fascinating piece of history that deserves more recognition. This is definitely a must-visit for any Bronte enthusiast!
The food is excellent, the atmosphere is delightful, and the staff are always warm and friendly.
Lovely little café, steeped in history. Nice place for a good quality snack and a coffee. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.Bring cash if possible as don't have a card reader, (but they were able to take payment by direct transfer).
Worth a visit. The guy who owns the coffee shop is a nice character. Great tea and coffee plus a good selection of cakes.make sure you take cash. He doesn't accept credit or debit cards. You get a good feel of times past there. Its well worth a visit
A varied selection of drinks and snacks set in cosy historic surroundings. Great attention to detail on all areas of presentation!
