Farm House Cafe - Thorsby

If you happen to be traveling down Hwy 31, it'd be well worth your time to stop by the Farm House Cafe in Thorsby to grab a quick, fresh-cooked lunch! Personally, given the location and the food selection, it brings me back home to my roots. Now we just need Mim's Grocery Store to take back that location from yet another storage facility.

This place is a hidden gem in Thorsby Alabama, the friendliest people,not just the employees. This is a true asset to the community,also they have a store inside the restaurant with gift options!

We had the buffet of deep fried pork chop, squash casserole, Mac cheese, cabbage, mashed potatoes tea and coffee. There was other foods on the buffet you pick a meat and your sides.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but, the inside is really cute. Biscuits were fresh the white gravy had a good flavor. The hashbrowns were interesting. It was shredded thinly weren't bad. The grits were just grits but, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The bathroom was clean spacious. If I find myself in this neck of the woods again, I'd come back.
