Standard LA faux-Japanese style, using exactly the same techniques and tricks as all the others.
Once you've had the teppan yaki, you've experienced this restaurant. It's fun to eat there and have the chef entertain with their neat tricks, but the food tends to develop a homogeneous flavor once you've been there a few times. This is a great place for a special event like a birthday or date, but food wise, it's just ok.
The food was overall okay, but the atmosphere was nice, along with the wonderful and attentive service. The lack of people during the lunchtime teppanyaki made everything SO much nicer than at night. However, the teppan soup was too salty for my liking. I had to drink sips of cold water to finish it after every mouthful. The meat and fish quality is good, and this spot was, in general, worth the visit! Kid-friendliness: Birthday celebrations are very neat! The staff are very accounting for all ages, serving everyone with a smile.
Prices are getting expensive but food is good waiter was non talkative and would not say anything it was weird but food was good
