The Halfway House - Three Rivers

My partner and I had a reservation booked for a Saturday night at this restaurant. However, they called us to cancel just two hours before the reservation due to their own error. Not only did they fail to make any effort to compensate for the late cancellation, such as offering us a discount for another time or a reservation at their sister restaurant, but they also provided poor service overall. Mistakes happen, but in this case, good customer service was clearly lacking and we were left without a plan for the evening.

The food at this English pub is incredibly tasty, served in a cozy atmosphere. While the staff is friendly and efficient, the real standout here is the delicious food that will leave you craving more.

My Thai wife and I, along with a friend who is divorced from a Thai lady, had dinner at the restaurant tonight. We are very familiar with Thai cuisine, and we were impressed with the excellent meal we had.

The pub itself is great, friendly locals and a good land lady. However the Thai food has gone steadily downhil and the price has gone up. Worst Thai food I've had

Food was awful. Lamb massaman was so chewy could only eat half of it. Potatoes so over boiled they disintegrated. Sauce was swimming in oil/grease and tasted of nothing. Green curry also tasteless. Even the rice was soggy overcooked. Will not be returning. Visit Nascot Arms if looking for a Thai
