Agave Jalisco Mexican - THREE RIVERS

We found this beautiful authentic Mexican restaurant on our way from South Padre Island TX to San Antonio TX. We had crushed beef and chickens in paprika, mushrooms, onions and melted cheese. They were so smokey with a little after the heat burner. Not too spicy and so delicious! Server was attentive and friendly! It served the Fajitas with a creamy green Verde sauce, bean dump, salsa and crisp salt chips. We had ice-cold beer with salt and lime, oh so good. I recommend this jewel of a Mexican restaurant?

They're their touch. Use service to be great and good. Food is still decent, but the waiting times have gone crazy. Waited one hour for two tacos.

Last time I stopped here before they upgraded the building and it seems when they got the new look they lost their good food and service. Lady on the phone was kind of rude and the breakfast tacos to go were tiny with business bought tortillas??

Food was good, but service wasn't good It was 9:40 while I just ate my Sunday dinner you slept around the table of my family. Then began mopping with some very strong fabulouso mop water. We couldn't even taste our food anymore! Only the Mop stuff When I went to the counter to pay the cashier asked if everything was good, I didn't want to say anything, but then she asked quite rudely what that means?! What happened? So I told her the taste of fabuloso (cleaning chemical) had ruined my dinner. She said very wise, but they just started mixing. They were already there and went right around our table. I understand they want to close at 10 and go home. But I pay for dinner and want a good service. Apart from my dinner, the cashier also treated me like I'm stupid. I wish there was a zero star option here.

From the moment we walked in, got excited over bean and chorizo dip for chips along with salsa, complementary by the way. Awesome portions, super fast service not gourmet, but very home cooked feel to it. Absolutely loved it, glad my beautiful fiancé chose the place. Super happy
