Golden Lantern - Thunder Bay

Excellent food, and warm friendly service. I always make sure to stop in when I'm passing through Thunder Bay.

We ordered the dinner for eight, it was so flavourful! There was a lot of left overs! They accommodated chicken instead of seafood.

We went there for take-out for four.....and $42 fed all of us. The blackbean chicken was very good.....nice and garlicky. Also enjoyed the vegetarian chop suey. I found the pork fried rice disappointing, but my partner loved it. The special chow-mein......I've had better. The barbecue pork was really dry. Service was good. The place looks a bit seedy in the old East side of Thunder Bay.....but it's pretty good food for a reasonable price.

I eat here all the time, well i get it for takeout. i always get lo mein or a combo dinner. the food is good and the prices are good compared to other places and the family is very nice. they will let you order even after they have closed. i love this place. great service and great food.

Best chinese food in town, I drive across the city to come here and have been going for years. We've never been disappointed, the food is good and inexpensive and the family who runs it are very friendly. Not to be missed if you want Chinese in thunder bay. Great cheap lunch specials as well!
