Salsbury Grill - Thunder Bay

The owner, Aaron, has done a fantastic job elevating The Sal to a great dining experience in Westfort Village. A great and varied menu to cast a net over a vast varieties of appetites. One of my lunch mates mentioned whenever he brings his grandson...for supper he orders breakfast every time. Sandwiches, salads, tacos, burgers, gyros and everything else on the menu are tantalizing meals.

My husband had his favourite Hot Beef Sandwich and it did not disappoint him, I cannot believe he ate the whole thing! i ordered the Moroccan Beef Taco with a Greek Salad (the best salad in the Bay). The beef had just enough spice/heat and...was super delicious!

The Sal is renewed in name and menu. Very agreeable. Very busy at lunch time. Decent local beer available. Worth visiting if in the neighbourhood.

Buffalo Bacon order Bleu w Salat and the Calgary Burger with Frittengravur. Both burgers had super thin paddies (as if cut in quarters). The sauce was kind of just sprayed with finished bacon. The salad had what smells like rotting... Onions and the Gravy was the typical purchase in your local grocery powder engraving . The burgers were cold like the Pommes. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. The cook doesn't care.

Excellent food and service. there is a beautiful walkway terrace. great breakfast and value for money. julie offers friendly and fabulous service.
