Good service, but very bland food. Ordered chilli prawn rice, no flavour just extreme spice. Katsu curry, dry chicken flavourless chicken Curry sauce was good however not enough.

On my first visit to Busaba Lakeside, I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and fast service. I didn't have to wait long to get my food, which was definitely a plus.

Came here for a Mother's Day lunch with my sister, my Mum Wife (two birds with one stone . Great starters to begin with which we shared between ourselves: two calamaris, some pork ribs and the pork skewers; all very tasty. For the mains, my sister and I had the tamarind duck, while my Mum and Wife had the lamb shank and sirloin steak respectively; also all very tasty. Finished off with dessert: chocolate fondant for Mrs, banana fritters for Big Sis, mango sorbets for my Mum and I had the sticky mango rice, with a cappuccino post-feast. Overall, good food and nice, friendly staff. My only criticism was the speed and delivery of service; it took a bit longer than I expected it to take. When the food arrived, the starters and mains were brought altogether, which I found a bit odd. Other than that, a nice day out.
