Popped in to get a take away and they were reasonably quick in producing the food, which I took home to eat. Reasonable quality well cooked

After driving 120 miles, my companion and I stopped at my local Chinese restaurant on our way to Suffolk, only 64 miles into our journey. We were disappointed to find that there were no available seats for us, so we decided to get takeaway instead. Despite the busy staff, we received a fantastic greeting from Micky. When I mentioned that we were taking our order back to Suffolk, Micky was surprised and worried that the food would be cold by then. I reassured him that we could just use a microwave to heat it up. The food was still warm and tasted great, and the restaurant looked spotless. Overall, the food was delicious and the value was excellent.

I lived in Stanford-Le-Hope from 2016 to 2017 and was lucky enough to find this gem of a restaurant. I have since moved back to North London however still make a point of getting the train and making the several hour journey each way just to get to Kong’s as the food is literally just that good it’s worth travelling for. I’ve found nothing even close to as good even in Chinatown. Their duck is amazing, and their sizzling fillet of beef is spectacular. I can not recommend enough. The staff are down to earth and friendly. One of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of eating in.

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and was pleased with the fiery shredded chili beef and the flavorful prawn king po. The food was still hot when I got it back home.

The meal was excellent, as usual. The staff is friendly and always goes above and beyond. I always enjoy dining here. Keep up the great work!
