Spent 15min on the phone to the driver as he couldn’t find the delivery address, even though I was on the phone to him, while standing outside looking for him. Food was stone cold very greasy. Food was also 15min late, but the app will not let me select 15min only 5min. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Papa John's on Orsett Road. The service was lackluster, the staff seemed disinterested, and the waiting time was far too long. When the pizza finally arrived, it was lukewarm and the toppings lacked freshness. I also found the cleanliness of the establishment wanting. I expected better from a well-known chain like Papa John's. Sadly, this visit didn't meet my expectations.
I didn’t get the order why they said is delivered? I’m not happy what’s happening?
Do not order from this branch. The owner is incredibly rude. He bullys his staff also. We ordered a pizza for the next day a children’s birthday party . I phoned 45 minutes before the delivery time to confirm the pizza would arrive on time and I was told it would. After it was 5 minutes late, I phoned and was told it was on its way. I kept chasing over 35 40 minutes and it eventually arrived ten minutes before we had to leave the party venue. The children were starving and it ruined our party as everything was rushed in the end people were leaving having only eaten a little. The pizza we ordered was over 35 minutes late numerous children were waiting to be fed and before accepting the delivery late, I was told over the phone I would be issued a refund. A week later I was told the refund would take 5 7 days. I chased the refund again today and the owner “Jitu” told me it was my fault for accepting the pizza over 30 minutes late and for not answering my phone 35 minutes after the delivery was due I was looking after numerous children at my son’s birthday party and therefore, was not by my phone . He told me he had “evidence” and screenshots. This is rubbish. It was not my fault at all and nobody explained a refund would not be issued if we accepted the pizza. In fact, a refund was promised and I was given the pizza. Whilst speaking to him, he abruptly interrupted me whilst I was speaking, he spoke to his staff in a very aggressive, rude and intimidating way and he sounds like a bully. His stuff sound terrified of him. He spent 20 minutes telling me it was all my fault, he told me he doesn’t have a surname I explained I would formally complain and he was very confrontational. This man does not deserve any business or custom. He accepts no responsibility for his own errors. I completely understand if somebody is training and new on the job but his attitude, lies and lack of people skills is shocking. Save yourself the bother and order your pizza from another Company and or branch.
They are quite fast with he orders when you go and order straight from the shop, the food is nice, for a quick bite si the best place to go.
