Bodette's Barbecue - Ticonderoga

The chicken was tender and moist, falling off the bone. I appreciated that it wasn't overly seasoned. The sauces added a nice touch, allowing for customization. The salad was fresh and crispy, and the coleslaw had a perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness. I would definitely come back to eat here again!

Delicious. Highly recommend. Working with owner, Joe, our family placed a large pick-up order (pulled pork, beef brisket, baby back St. Louis style ribs, whole chicken and sides) during last week of July 2018. Bodette's professionalism and experience showed. Properly packaged, perfectly cooked barbecue. We'll be returning for sure! Also be sure to check out the old-time candy store inside.

Joe and Cindy are amazing people and their establishment showcases the best of what Ticonderoga has to offer. The catering services provided by this business are top-notch, with delicious food, quick service, and a wide variety of side dishes at affordable prices. The Candy Corner, a separate business within the same location, is a beloved spot that has all the classic nostalgic candies we all know and love, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists.

We chose a unique location for our wedding: a small, private island in upstate New York. With only 6 months to plan, I was worried about finding a caterer on short notice, especially one who could handle the challenges of working in a location accessible only by boat. Fortunately, The Knot connected us with Bodette's BBQ. After reading positive reviews online and verifying them with past clients, we decided to hire them for our big day. Joe and his team had just 15 minutes to set up before our ceremony, but they did so quickly and efficiently. The BBQ chicken thighs, pulled pork, brisket, sides, and BBQ sauces were all delicious. They provided disposable dinnerware, cleaned up promptly, and left us with plenty of leftovers. Joe was thorough, responsive, and ensured a stress-free experience. We highly recommend Bodette's BBQ for any event. Hiring them for our wedding was a decision we did not regret.

Stopped in to get some candy with my kids and left with a bunch of delicious candy and sandwiches my kids begged because it smelled so good). Good selection of candy and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their sandwiches. Friendly staff!
