This is a traditional style buffet with country style food. If you enter, pay and choose a drink (sadly Pepsi products) then choose a table and dig in while the server brings the drinks to your table. You ask if you want money back from your credit card for the tip, there is no mechanism to add the tip directly to the charging clip that I found strange. The decor is a lot of wood tones, with basic tables and stands (and many of them). This is Post COVID, I was interested in her protocols for security and I was not disappointed. There were several hand sanitary dispensers, and there were disposable gloves available for use on the buffet. We used both and felt completely safe with the precautions they took. There was a wide range of foods with many different meat, vegetables and starch options. There was a separate well filled salad bar and a large dessert station with many choices. All we tried was well done and seasoned, the green beans had a nice ham taste to them and the roasted chicken was crispy and perfectly salty. At about $11 per person we were very satisfied with the selection and value that was received, and the service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back if you like country food and/or buffets, then Ole Times is highly recommended.
My personal opinion I love it. facts : it's on the higher end of fairly priced . Some of the food can be greasy. Some of the food can be bland. For the most part the food is very good. The best nights to eat during dinner service is Friday and Saturday night. The rest of the week eat lunch service. The people are very nice. The waiters and waitresses are very hospitable. Overall about 7 out of 10 for me .
The best Okra. No heavy dough, super crispy. I like to buy it on the pound. It makes the best Sunday afternoon to treat. Eat it like popcorn!
Amazing Southland food made the right way. Visit any chance you get!
What a vulnerable way to enjoy Father's Day with an excellent lunch. Catch is two thumbs up!
