Dog Street Cafe Outfitters

This café is less than 4 miles from I-20 and worth the trip into Livingston. The staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was quaint with historical stories and photographs on the walls. My reuben and my wife's patty melt were a little greasy, but I'm looking forward to trying the club sandwich one day soon. The shoestring french fries were a treat.

Ended up in this little town at this fabulous restaurant. We had the platter, the chicken salad and a BLT. All were delicious. Loved the thin fries!! And the owners were friendly and welcoming. Worth the drive!

Love this place. It feels like visiting friends in their home for a good southern meal. And the pub talks on Tuesday night are always fun and informative I highly recommend!

We had a Patty melt, hash browns, a kids platter and complete silence. Would do again.
