Never! I always start with a divorced margarita, so with the tequila on the side. I like to know what I get. When I got the bill, I really saw what I got, that's torn! I was charged the full price for the margarita, which was actually only the mix, and the full price for the tequila. When I pointed out the management that this was the first time in about 65 years that I had pulled this trick on me, I was rudely said that if I didn't like it, I should let the bartender decide to use the amount of tequila! reasons policy that our group read rocas crossed from our monthly list. I would suggest you do the same.
We had dinner in las rocas our first night in mexiko and enjoyed it. have a virgin margarita the faust time out because our waiter didn't understand what I wanted, but it was changed to a very beautiful margarita when they understood!
If they are looking for the most romantic restaurant, they will be reading rocas who love to eat is excellent, the serice is excellent and the look incredible!
Hotel had nice views. Rooms were cold. No heater, no hot water at night, only one free wifi connection and it was extremely slow. Needed to walk down to reception to get user and password good for 48 hrs. Did not feel safe in room...as locks seem loose and easy to open. Rooms need updating. Sunday breakfast buffet was good and staff was nice all around hotel. Spa is also nice. No beach access from hotel. Just a few things that bummed us out about the trip.
Las Rocas, at kilometer 38, has been a Rosarito institution as a resort and spa for decades. It's spectacular views, gorgeous grounds, and lovely pools provide one of the best settings in the area. They now offer Sunday Brunch $12.00 each , and it is, in...my opinion, the best in the area. There are steam table trays filled with appetising Mexican choices, and there are various stations for typical American choices. The omlets are beautifully prepared, as are pancakes at the pancake station. Pancakes and French Toast are also available at the steam tables, and they are never allowed to languish there--if patrons don't empty the steam tray, servers will; the pancakes and French Toast are always fresh, even in the steam tray. There is a lovely fresh fruit selection, and yoghurt is available. Bacon and sausage are perfectly cooked--and the dessert table is overflowing with spectacular choices they are different each week . There is outside seating with a gorgeous view, and there is inside seating with the same view. Friendly servers are always waiting to pour more coffee, get water, or take a plate out of your way. Every aspect of the area is clean and well maintained. If you want a lovely brunch experience, Las Rocas can provide it! Tell the guard at the well-secured parking lot you are going in to eat, and go down the gentle outdoor staircase to the left of the registration office to the lower level brunch area. You'll be smiling at the view before you get to the bottom of the stairs. Happy hour under the palapa is pretty special, too.
