Los Chilaquiles - Tijuana

If you like Mexican breakfasts , this is the place, nice ambience, very extensive menu,flavorful and with hughe portions. Of course the chilaquiles in a lot of different combinations is the main atarction, but you have much more where to choose from. I think is a good and affordable place to have a nice breakfast.

Don't waste your time going here. The chilaquiles are soggy and very disappointing, they don't taste fresh at all. They have a veriety of types inpired from different regions of Mexico, but truthfully, these are not to be compared, they appear to be made in baking pans in large batches, then cut up for your order. So they are either to dry or soggy when you get them. Not like fresh tasting like other restaurants throughout Mexico that I've been to. We've been here several times, but every time seems to be getting worse. The parking is crappy and the staff has no concept of customer service. This last time we arrived and the place was half empty, tables looked ready to be seated with customers, we were a small group of 6. After 30 minutes we were still not seated, we asked the girls and was told that she would check, she went to the back, pasted several empty tables, then came back with no answer. Another 5 minutes passed and we asked again, she went back again and by now we realized that she wasn't coming back, 5 more minutes passed, so we left and a two other groups left with us. They really need to get their act together. I don't plan on coming back. Good luck, if they don't seat you withing 15 minutes, just walk away. Not worth the wait, there are a lot more better placing to wait.

The chilaquiles del mar or something like that are good. Very good chocolate and atoles. For my taste they need to be a little bit more spicy, in other words the kitchen should offer different levels of spiciness

Great place for breakfast. Cafe de Olla was amazing!!! Chillaquiles are great and the menudo is very good!

We stopped here for breakfast on the way to Valle de Guadelupe. We went with the sauce suggestion of the man there and it was AMAZING. Beware - you will eat yourself into a food coma! Delicious simple food that will make you want to come back as soon as possible for more. It's part of a food court type area, so you can get food from more than one counter and pay for it all at a central area.
