18 Wheeler - Tilbury

Doesn’t get any better than this, in small town Tilbury. Clean as can be, inviting, and charming. Several different types of tables and chairs really adds to the uniqueness here.I’m a car hauler passing through towards the states and wanted something other than subway at the truck stop. I looked up restaurants on google maps that maybe had enough parking to put a semi truck. 18 Wheeler caught my eye (for obvious reasons lol) and they had plenty of room for a semi. I read raving reviews and decided this was where I’d eat dinner. Boy am I glad I did. Bonnie couldn’t have been sweeter and more welcoming if she tried. Reviews said that you couldn’t go wrong with a fresh burger so I did the Tina. A fresh (never frozen) burger topped with an onion ring, bacon, and three cheese blend. I opted for a side of fresh cut fries on the side. The picture I took doesn’t do it justice (google won’t let me share it for some reason). This 1/2 pound burger was out of this world good. The cook was telling me all about how the restaurant has been there since 2007 cooking up excellence. I wish they’d advertise more on the highway because they’d get truckers who are tired of the typical subway and fast food. Mom and pop diners like this are the way to go. I’m so glad I stopped in and gave the place a shot. I will gladly return and try another one of them amazing burgers and chat with Bonnie. Home run 18 Wheeler, home run!

Ok so as a Canadian I reserve the right to vote on who makes the best poutine and I've traveled across the country a few times, these guys are the best I've had!Amazinggggggg!

This is one of the few best places left to go for a comfortable delicious meal, snack, or even just coffee.Bill the cook satisfies our culinary desire perfectly and interacts personably with his customers. He is an absolute treasure for this restaurant. My wife and I drive all the way from Windsor almost weekly to enjoy this place and the staff. Good food, good coffee and great staff. Don't change anything!John and Becky

Amazing food and service every single time I go there. Melissa and Joe are amazing people who love to provide people with a friendly atmosphere and delicious fair priced foods. 10/10 will always go when in Tilbury and they are open
