Perfect position- one of my young grandsons loves his cricket! The pubs location was once featured on a magazine indicating the country's best village greens and rightly so! The beer is good, a great village atmosphere and I only visit about monthly but would wish more often. Outside space is excellent front and rear particularly with the sunshine!

An interesting pub for sure. Go check it out and make your own mind up. On the village green it 's definately a real picture postcard place. Village cricket is a regular feature and with the River Wey running along the end of the garden it has all the makings. If you don 't like it there 's another very good pub just up the road a quote from a famous former landlord. .

If I could give it any less stars I would! A very hostile place to walk into, unless you are a local or best friends with the owner do not go! Even the staff were unwelcoming and begrudging to stop the gossiping to greet me! Never again!
