After a lovely walk, we were delighted to stumble upon a cozy café where we enjoyed apricot flapjacks and coffee. I appreciated that they offered almond and oat milks for an additional charge, although I usually dislike this practice at other places. After more walking, we returned to try their soup and goulash, which were both delicious, served with chunky bread and Vitalite spread. We visited in early February and found the atmosphere warm and welcoming, without being too crowded. The café is open year-round, except on Christmas Day, and always offers vegan options for both hot dishes and desserts.
This restaurant is a beautiful place with a waterfall, nature trail, charming gift shop, and café that offers plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. The prices are a bit high, but you can always bring a picnic. It's definitely worth a visit, but be prepared for a bit of a hike. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes, especially if you're headed to the falls. This location is not wheelchair or stroller-friendly.
I discovered this cafe and it was a great find! It's a 20-minute walk from the parking lot through the woods and along a river. The vegan chocolate cake we had was the best I've ever tasted! They had three vegan meal options for £9.95 each, which all sounded delicious, but we weren't hungry enough to try them. The cafe is located in the woods next to a waterfall that requires an entrance fee, but it is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this place!
My stepdaughter's favorite place in the world is the Waterfall, so we just had to visit. After a lovely walk, we stumbled upon a welcoming cafe before heading off to see the waterfall. We enjoyed apricot pastries and coffee, with the option of almond or oat milk for an extra charge (which is not available at many places). After another walk, we returned and shared a soup and goulash (which was absolutely delicious) with bread and spread. We visited in early February, and it was cozy and not too crowded. They are open year-round, except for Christmas, and always have vegan options for hot dips and cakes.
This restaurant is a lovely place with a waterfall, nature trail, beautiful gift shop, and café offering many vegetarian and vegan options. The prices are a bit high, but it's the perfect spot for a picnic. It's definitely worth a visit, but be prepared for a bit of a hike. It's recommended to wear sturdy shoes, especially if you plan to visit the falls. This venue is not suitable for strollers or individuals with mobility issues.
