This is an eco-hostel with dried toilets and you were only allowed to take a shower once at day and with a bucket. It help us to realise how much water we spend on our daily life. There are two menus, you can choose the vegetarian option, that can easily modified to vegan. They also have Snacks like Yuca Frita (fried mandiok), Patacones (fried plantain) and juices. Breakfast could be better though. But it was a nice place to relax and enjoy the sea. Updated from previous review on 2022-01-25
I stayed at Santa Lova for three nights. Let me start with the positives: the mangrove island is beautiful and the hotel installations too. They use dry toilets and limit the water use, very eco friendly. What I 'm truly angry about is they advertised their hotel as vegan-friendly , which it is clearly not. It 's great for vegetarians, but for the vegan option they just leave out the animal protein for the same price (one evening I had rice and potatoes for 30k
The best hostel of all time! we loved our stay in santa lowa so much. all staff are very friendly and are happy to meet all hospitable. the rooms were amazing and very comfortable, and the activities offered were probably some of the best we saw in the opposite (we were in different hostels in the opposite and none of them had as unique activities like santa lowa we could snorkel, swimming with gurkenfisch, plankton swimming, etc. the hostel has a great relationship with innate that simply add to the experience and do not want to go away. I would go back to a heartbeat and you should go too!

In short, this is a great place with “Travelers” and “Hostel” atmosphere, although they can have a separate space if they want. the hostel has family atmosphere and they can do everything they want to dance, card games, chill, party. If they are a 5 stars marriott person, this place is not sure that the owner is French and they can also meet many French volunteers here. in the rule there are people from all over the world, including the local it would be great if they speak Spanish as they live so much easier in Colombian what eats, all super though I would rather go with traditional fish (pescado) dishes instead of picky like oktopus.
