Our aim is not to pass judgement on the restaurant. We arrived at 9 o'clock for our reservation and waited for 10 minutes without being greeted verbally. The managing director apologized but also insulted us in the process. Three of us stood at the entrance for 10 minutes without a single word of acknowledgment. Here's a suggestion on how to improve this: take a cue from Apple's customer service. Apple greets everyone at the door and ensures that customers are taken care of promptly. Alternatively, consider the approach of Dinec's, who efficiently take orders and keep customers informed about wait times. Despite witnessing a seemingly overstaffed restaurant, the service was lacking. It's not my place to comment on the restaurant's productivity, but the overall dining experience was average. With some improvements in service and ambiance, this restaurant could potentially charge £20 per person without wine. In conclusion, my rating is 3 stars, given generously by my wife and children. However, not every customer may be as forgiving. The restaurant should step up their game and prioritize customer care.
This is a lovely restaurant with two options for breakfast - English and continental. Both options are fantastic choices. However, coffee lovers may be disappointed by the limited availability - only regular coffee is offered, no espresso or cappuccino. This is quite surprising for a 4-star hotel. Overall, it is still a beautiful spot for breakfast.
