Since we wanted a peaceful place away from the crowd of Goa tourists, we went as per the reviews and recommendations of @countingmiles the youtuber AMIT, initially we were informed that the room would cost us Rs 500 per night, lady after checkout Says it's 500 rupees per night. If we stay for more than a month otherwise it is Rs 750, to add to this that drunk husband says Rs 1000 for utilities used and some additional charges which he was not able to explain and also threatened Granted he will call the locals if we are not paying the bill as per his calculations which was now Rs 1000 for only one day stay....the place is actually not even 10% of what the pictures show. This is a slum and inside the so called settlement area, where once you reach there you only have to pay their demand and they will not even care about a thing called HUMANITY, whatever that means to them. That business is also an inhuman business, they were so inhuman that within a day we left that place and went to another place. It is a sincere and humble request not to promote these people who are always drunk and stoned with the money looted from their guests. Due to the commotion they created during our checkout, we missed our last bus to the city for better accommodation. This led to spending another 1k for the cab. So we have only had bad expensive experiences with them. It is not even worth thinking about when we want to remember our Goa vacation.
Quaint, peaceful space amidst nature. Just a km away from the beach. Best hospitality.
Stayed here for a month along with friends, it was one of the best experiences. The entire month we had an homley experience, both Nandu and Kanta who are the owners of this place are very much friendly. There is a garden for relaxing purpose and the beach is at a walkable distance. One can also have 3 time meals of thier own menu and Kanta di would be happy to prepare the meal of ones choice, I loved the cheese aloo paratha which had its love filled by Kanta di in it. There are lot of monkeys in and around the area, there are 3 well built dogs to handle the monkeys. There is hot water available, if one needs it. For those who wish to stay along with the nature, tea garden would be a perfect place to live, has its own aura and calmness sournded. Altogether it was a lovely experience, after staying here for a month we became bonded both with Nandu and Kanta di also with thier 3 dogs.
So Quiet and nature lover place Not so much modern they keep it simple easy and natural , you feel all natural vibe ,
We stayed here and honestly loved the overall experience. The owners are too sweet and you will have a great time at their garden with the pets and not to forget its proximity to the beach.
