A traditional very old but Excellent hotel. We had breakfast here. Awesome. The Ghee Roast with Vada and Chutney is mouth watering. Best.

This is an old restaurant that's operational for decades.We went for breakfast. Started off with sambar vadai as it was widely recommended. It was good. They have very limited options in terms of menu. Next tried their 'super' which is a ghee roast. The taste was very good. The sambar and chutneys were average.The ambiance is very good. For those who haven't had an experience of good old hotels' look and feel, this will be a good experience.

A traditional hotel. Not for the ambience friendly. But you get tasty food. The specialities are Ghee roast also known as "Super" here and Sambhar vada.

This is one of the oldest restaurants (nearly 75 years old) in Trichy city situated near Jambukeshwarar temple in Tiruvanaikovil. You will find real taste of Tamil traditional food. Some of the famous dishes are Ghee roast, Sambar vada, Rava pongal (gets over by 5:30 am) and rava dosa. There will be limited menu but everything will taste heavenly. Many celebrities, political leader and entrepreneurs have visited this restaurant. I used to eat in this restaurant every time I visit my native. If you want to taste real local and traditional food of Tamil Nadu, visit this place. Please note you cannot expect hifi ambience here.
