Partha Sarathy Vilas - Tiruchirappalli

Parthasarathy Vilas, a name that needs no introduction to people in Trichy, especially in and around Srirangam and Thiruvanaikoil. Very famous for its Ghee Roast, this place was in the back of my mind the moment the temple visit was planned. One of the evenings in Trichy, after visiting the Rockfort Temple and roaming around Theppakulam and Singarathope, we decided to head here for dinner. Little did we realize that we could actually be so late for dinner. We entered around 08:45 PM and the place looked absolutely deserted. I was so surprised as to how such an iconic place could be so empty at 08:45 PM.

Situated just outside the jambukeswarar temple.... One of the few place where you can taste authentic South Indian food..... Place is worth the hype..... They serve the best ghee dosa and sambar vada ...sambar vada was soft and tasty...coffee was not milky but was good..... ambience is a simple traditional South Indian house .......must try place....

Nice place to have an Orthodox breakfast early morning.. special menu to have there is Ghee roast.... Usually the hotel will be leave on Mondays

What can I write about this place? For those who like authentic vegetarian tiffs for a competitive price, this is the best place. I'm literally going to dinner. Hygiene is also preserved. The only con is, now one day they only use gas cylinders instead of wooden fire cooking due to commercialization. A must visit.

I would suggest this place for breakfast. One of the best hotels in Srirangam or Trichy. This restaurant is 100m from the temple (Jambu Keshava). It will always amount, but in any case u will place in 5 to 10 minutes. A little hard to get parking. There is no parking space. They serve limited items (Idly, Dosa, Puri and Vada) I had Idly 3/5 (Not hot, I expected, hot) Dosa 4/5 Puri 4/5 Tea 3/5 Coffee 3/5
