Viva La Casita - Tishomingo

Really good burrito verdes for lunch. Salsa pretty good. Iced tea fresh. Service good. Best place to eat if you’re stuck in Red Bay.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. The chicken tortilla soup was great. Most dishes were okay.

Extremely quick service and the host was beyond kind and helpful. Definitely a place I will return to any time I come to Tishomingo State Park.

We ordered takeout and I was five miles away visiting a relative when my friend called to check on the food. I completely forgot about it for two hours! I understand they were busy and I appreciate their effort, but I felt the wait was too long. When I finally got home, I discovered that the order was still incorrect after that long wait. I had reminded them about the extra tortillas and bean dip, but we only received half of what we should have for the tortillas. I ordered steak, shrimp, chicken, and two with mushrooms, but we only got steak. I was definitely disappointed, especially since this was the second time in two weeks that our order was wrong. I initially blamed my friend, but I was the one who placed the first order. It would be great if there was someone who could truly understand what customers are saying and knows the menu well enough to handle takeout orders properly; it would have made the experience wonderful, as it always is when we dine in. We really enjoy the service and food when we eat at the restaurant.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent! We were camping in the area and decided to place a to-go order. They had everything ready right on time, and the meals were hot and freshly prepared.
