Cute, family diner tucked off Rt. 1. Don't blink or you'll miss the quaint brick country exterior and parking lot. Rustic furnishings and friendly staff welcome you to a home style menu of everything from burgers to fish and grits. Nightly dinner specials and homemade desserts are available for those with big appetites. We enjoyed crispy handcut fries, sandwiches, along with chopped steak. All was delicious.
My husband and I frequent honeysuckle often, it’s a really great southern style place, with great food. The servers and staff are friendly. I’d say it’s probably the best restaurant in Mims. Only thing I’d mention is be sure to check your take out orders to make sure you get everything before leaving, we’ve been shorted sides a few times, frustrating, but it happens.
Worst experience ever. Ordered a salad, it came with a dead bug in it. Clearly you can see the dead bug sitting on the fork. $15 dollars for nothing. Do NOT RECOMMEND!
Tried to give Honeysuckles in Mims a third try. NEVER AGAIN!!! Had been a couple of times before and food was less than subpar, so was willing to give them another chance to see if they had improved and support local business. Had the veggie plate. The green beans were so greasy and full of so much pepper, they were inedible. The mac cheese was overcooked and same as green beans, full of pepper, inedible. The mashed potatoes looked as though they had just smashed a cooked potato and left it at that, no flavor. I grew up on southern cooking and this is not it! Will not ever be going back.
