Tivoli

Tonight, my daughter Darlene brought us here to celebrate my husband and the 53rd anniversary. Although it is not until the end of the month. We have never really experienced farms to eat at table. So we really didn't know what to expect. To make a long story very short. In the minute we went to the place, the person who greeted us was very friendly, then when we put ourselves or server Mel was very friendly and very formative about the menu. Apart from the food that is extremely tasty, it was presented in a very mystical way. Tonight was the first time I actually ate flowers and enjoyed it. I wish you could save more stars, because for me five stars are too little for what this restaurant gave me tonight. The food, the ambience, the staff are just more than I expected. Thank you.?? I love fog

Absolutely excellent stay. The staff was so welcoming and the restaurant is top notch. With my beaver he checked a bed and bowls waiting for him in the room. Breakfast was served every morning on the terrace. Have a new visit.

The lady at the reception was very rude when she answered the phone and as if she was so busy she had no time for games. So do not answer the phone in a professional setup. She's lucky I don't remember her name, I was very close to curse her outside!

Suite with 2 bedrooms We heard really good things about the hotel Tivoli, that's really a bed breakfast. Our experience is probably different from most others. We needed 2 rooms and that was not available. But they had a suite with 2 bedrooms in the adjacent building. At least we didn't have to worry about a late noise from the bar/restaurant below. But the suite had only one wall AC unit that made it very difficult to cool all rooms. Bedroom doors had to be left open to get the cool air. An advantage of the suite is that it has a very nice living room. Unfortunately, the institution (as seems to be in all rooms) was more about art than function. The couch was really unpleasant. On the plus side, breakfast was really good every morning. I enjoyed the hotel for the weekend, but I would probably stay another place at a future visit.

Clean room and comfy bed. Service is a bit crude if not rude. Nice place to stay if you have a car and will drive to other locations for meals. I literally asked for a boiled egg on my second day after having sunny side eggs the first morning and was told the chef can only make scrambled or fried eggs...lol. so many things to unpack there but clearly service was to blame and not the chef. Cute location and deck. Chose to go out to Rhinebeck and Woodstock for dinner as options were better and service was included. There are other similar locations in the surrounding areas I can support so will try a different location next time as we stay in the area at least three to four times a year.
