A L'ombre Du Figuier - Tiznit

A must go when you visit Tiznit. The place is a Moroccan restaurant with typical Moroccan dishes with a spin! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the food is fresh and authentic and the cook will surprise you with some dishes that you want to make a picture of before eating! The price is good in the region of the average cost of a Moroccan dinner and the quality is very high.

Good place for dinner, snack or coffee/tea. We had dinner here, and found the food tasty and generous with a nice presentation as you expect it from a restaurant. The place has both inside and outside seating, with the latter being in a private courtyard (under and around the fig tree) The menu is diverse and has both vegetarian, meat and fish options.

This is a small hidden gem you should not miss when you are in Tiznit. We asked for vegetarian food (which was not on the menu, with the exception of some salads), and they prepared us a fantastic soup and a dish with grilled vegetables, salad, potatoes etc. We also ordered a Moroccan salad that was great. All dishes were beautifully decorated. Absolutely recommended!
