Gran Cafe del Centro - Tlalpan

We anyways received extra smiles along with our food which was excellent! Breakfast or lunch, good selection.

After a very disappointing meal at a highly rated restaurant, my husband and I found ourselves at Gran Cafe when we realized we were still hungry after breakfast one. The other place we went to had horrible service and we were so relieved when the server here went out of his way to be helpful. The breakfast meal came with coffee, fresh orange juice, a choice of pastry, and the main course. The food felt endless, but we overstuffed ourselves since everything tasted so good. In the end our check for two meal sets plus tip came out less than one tiny entree at breakfast locale #1.

Although Mexico City has many good restaurants, this is the place I wanted to try a second time. Excellent decision! I went back with my wife, and we had an excellent meal and a good time. She thought everything was wonderful, as I knew she would. Again, every course was both generous and delicious. The keyboard player is another special treat. It is a leisurely afternoon, low-key place with no pretensions of glamour or haute cuisine, and the prices fit. Highly recommended!

Un lugar renovado bien para desayunar y comer, en precio bastante accesible en temporada tienen chiles en nogada que son, en términos generales buenos el servicio es bueno desde un café hasta un buen vino.

Soy cliente de este lugar desde hace 4 años,la comida es muy buena,y a muy buen precio y en muy buena ubicación a unas cuadras del palacio de bellas artes,desafortunadamente en los últimos días se ha deteriorado el servicio,los meseros son muy lentos y groseros,los utensilios ya son viejos (me sirvieron pozole en una cazuela rota,y la cerveza en una jarra rota),en un momento me percate que olía a drenaje dentro del lugar y no se molestaron por cerrar la puerta,espero que hagan cambios muy pronto porque es muy buen resturante.
