Bad service at Salón Monterrey, dogs around and too many people salute stuffs. Bad taste of food. And I had to hear the worse Mariachi.

Recommended by a worker in the hotel where I lived. My bill should have been $460 and they calculated me $850, not recognized until I went so that I’m limited with a “manager”, my Spanish is limited. He called the waiter and the waiter went away from the manager and gave me 500 dollars from his pocket. Bad business.

Food is moderate and overly expensive. The waiters steal your money with fake prices. Stay away. Much better places elsewhere.

This large restaurant is on the corner of the jardin. Our tour book and innkeeper told us there was live mariachi music at 3 so we held off with lunch til then. Unfortunately there wasn't any music. The service was not enthusiastic and seemed not to understand any English or our beginning Spanish. I had a margarita but waiter didn't understand my friend's Spanish for with ice. Drink was okay. Our pollo with mole poblano didn't look very appealing when served. It tasted like old dried out overcooked chicken with a mole sauce that seemed to have hardened on top. I had trouble cutting the chicken and just gave up. The final tab turned out to be more than my dinner at a #1 rated restaurant nearby

Si bien es mejor lugar que la plaza del mariachi en la capital del estado, este municipio provee de un espacio familiar donde puedes comer, beber y disfrutar de música en vivo en un ambiente seguro, pues está frente al edificio de la sede municipal que está resguardada con personal de seguridad pública armada y es constantemente patrullado.Todo se ve demeritado gracias a que si quieres sentarte en cualesquier mesa de cualquier restaurante, te condicionan al consumo mínimo de la famosa "cazuela" que no es otra cosa que una gran bebida de tequila. Por cierto, si quieres del más barato para cumplir el requisito, regularmente no hay, sólo del caro.Además sigo esperando la factura de mi consumo "Bar Betos", así que interpondré una denuncia por fraude fiscal en el lugar.
